Muffin: Special Hound Show (September 10, 2011) - Ex 1, CAC, Special Hound Show winner, BOB

Last performance of Muffin's summer exhibition season took place today at the Special Hound Exhibition in pension Kadlecův mlyn in Brno. After few rainy days, the Indian Summer had finally arrived and that was big help since whole show was taking place outdoors. Porcelaines were second largest group after Basset Hounds and our judge was examining all dogs with great care and attention to detail. She must have liked me a lot, since we had to go back to the circle several times and in the end, we brought home a lot of treats, some papers and several gold colored pieces of metal. Cookie and Muffin:  Obedience examination (ZOP) , Vrchlabi (July 1, 2011)

I was slightly nervous on Friday, waiting for our exam in basic dog handling in Vrchlabi. We decided to participate a lot in the last minute and counted on the fact that Cookie can already excercise with her eyes shut and  Muffínka is smart enough, so they can handle it without any further practice. What I feared most was  unwanted sniffing and walking without a leash,    with regard to the new environment. But it turned out that the most problematic part (for all participating dogs) was      the long laying down without any moving. Muffinka held bravely nearly the entire prescribed period of time and eventually crept toward me with her tail waging and looking so willing to continue that I had to  reward her. And   Cookie, I apologized for lifting beacuse of the cold ground, as she is a sensitive girl .

Eventually, after summing up  all points,  it worked out for both, so we passed, uh . Some photos directly from the event ..

Muffin: 82nd International Dog show Luxembourg, LUX (27.3.2011) - Ex 1, CACL, CACIB, BOB

The long way to Luxembourg was worth it - Muffinka passed the conditions to become the Louxemburgeois champion , hurrah!

Thanks to the Best of Breed  (BOB) we could take a part in the final show competition.

Muffin started the new show season in Olomouc. I stayed with Cookie at home crossing fingers :-). Next time we will go all together.

Muffin: Special European hound show, SLO (2.10.2010) - Ex 1, CAC, BOB

Judge: Iztok Tomšič (SLO)

The airport in Slovenj Gradec hosted the special European hounds show in 1st  October. Muffinka felt at home between the falling skydivers and thundering aircraft engines and she won a tough competition  Ex1, CAC and a nice cup for BOB. We were really happy!

Cookie: Cookie won Tišnov´s tilt in obedience!

Our Cookie prooved that Bernese Hound is an intelligent breed that can handle everything safely. In Tišnov we participated in obedience competitions conducted by the magazine Psí kusy. Here you can see what Cookie is capable of:

Muffin: 81st International Dog show Luxemburg, LUX (4.9.2010) - Ex 1, CACL, CACIB, Best female

This time we had a very nice company at show - the Berne hounds kennel. We were satisfied, all members of the expedition were succesfull. The picture shows a very promising junior hound female - Candida Bohemia Hill

Muffin: 15th International Dog Show Leipzig, GER (21.8.2010) - Ex 1, VDH, CAC, CACIB

Judge Tamas Jakkel (HUN): lovely type, nice expression, good neck and shoulders, excellent balance and substance, well angulated hind legs

Muffin passed the conditions for the Czech junior champion!

And one more great news: Muffinka got the World winner 2010 in Danmark!!

Muffin: HAFBO agility fun-race (19.6.2010) - 1st place

Again, we participated in few fun events at our training center, where we practise agility. I like the games and tomfoolery so it went like clockwork. Cookie is absolutely unmatched in the course for the sausage but overall the youth won over experience :-)

Today was really a successful day. In the morning it seemed to get wet and get on the show frozen but we had literally burnt noses. Muffinka had a good mood and it was obvious during the the presentation and awards:-).

Muffin: 43. International dog show in Berlin, GER (18.4.2010) - Ex 1, JunCAC

Muffin has completed the conditions for the German Junior Champion.

Muffin: International dog show Dressden, GER (11.4.2010) - Ex 1, JunCAC

After a busy day we managed to reach another CAJC from Dresden. The BOB was awarded to Muffinka‘s brother Chruďoš, he is a great and beautiful guy (check him out on the photo below from the show in Mlada Boleslav in the puppy class).

Muffin: Klubová výstava psů v Horních Beřkovicích (27.3.2010) - Ex 1, CAJC, BOB, 3. BIS Junior 

Our next show took place at the Hound Club in Horní Beřkovice. The atmosphere was very pleasant and first of all we had the opportunity to meet and talk to  other friends of porcealaines. This time the Mufinka‘s keeper ran the race and I have to admit that the scandal certainly did not happen. The judge Ing. Jaroslav Dostal DrSc together with Stacy Janick awarded us with the BOB.

In Germany we recieved a beautiful award under the judge Horst Kliebenstein, who praised us for a nice presentation and gave us an excellent judgement.

Cookie a Muffin: Agility racing in Lysá nad Labem (22.11.2009)

Muffinka decided to try the agility, too and it was not bad at all. Finally, she brought home a diploma for the beautiful third place. Cookie is very experienced in agility but it was the first time she ran in the circle and she chose the easiest way how to run in :)  We will train more fo the next time...

Special 2 days show in the Hungarian metropolis was closed by reaching the Hungarian Junior Champion. Muffinka is proudly posing with the cup.

A pleasant day in the Moravian village at the time of harvest. They realli liked Muffinka and we left home with a diploma for the best youth and a few bottles of wine.

Cookie: HAFBO agility racing

First time at an unofficial agility competition and second place, the second agility competition and the first place... hmmm, I'll have to start to take a part in official competition for professionals;-)

Cookie: HAFBO - Cookie the competition winner - 5th anniversary of HAFBO

One a fine autumn day we joined a walk with our friends from Hafbo and ended with a competition. Muffík tried to thwart the overall victory by hunting a roe but it did not stop me in the final overall victory..
